Infrared Video Camera works great but instructions were lacking

I bought this camera to record the wildlife coming to our deer feeder and watering trough at night. I had a heck of a time getting it to work. The instructions were minimal and sadly lacking. The camera quality is great. I finally contacted the manufacturer and they were wonderful at helping figure out how to connect it. I was told that it connected easily to my VCR. That is correct if you know how. You have to use the RCA adapters that have the yellow plug either on the front or back of your VCR. I thought I was going to just hook it up coax style but it won't work that way due to the RF nature of the signal. I was going for cheap and did not want to spend the money for the DVR for a more permanent setup. The nice thing is that I can use this camera to 'add-on' to a more permanent security system later on. You need to get a BNC F to RCA adapter. I went to a Radio shack where I lived and the guy there told me I could not do this and it would not work. I went to a different radio shack and got what I needed. There is no sound with this camera but I just wanted to see the wildlife anyway. It has a distance recording capability of 60 Ft. I moved it to about 15 feet from the feeder so I could get a better video of the wildlife. I saw many deer, including the babies, racoons, and something I could not tell what it was and finally a big black hog!
